Born in Hong Kong in 1997, Ansel graduated from Bond University with Bachelor in Architectural Studies and Master in Urban and Regional Planning at New England University, NSW, with high distinction.  His areas of interest include designs for people with special needs, town planning, and social media.  During his undergraduate studies, he designed a co-working and co-living urban block, co-housing town house for young people with autism, and community centre with indoors and outdoors gardens.  In his postgraduate master study years, he participated in a multi-use complex planning project for a regional town, and development of sustainable residential housing strategy for a regional council.  In the process, he furthered his skills in team work and time management, as well as problem-solving and critical review capabilities. His past experience being an intern working in Singapore has broadened his scope of working in the Asian Pacific region, teamwork and city planning.  He is looking forward to acquiring working experience in different industries including urban planning, urban design, and property development.

It is with this background that he has acquired experience on a variety of urban and regional planning projects, working in small teams and an international outlook.   His strengths lie in frontline collaborative planning and design, coordination with professionals during the building process, particularly those in China and Southeast Asia, and liaising with Asian clients. 

Aside from his core professional pursuit, Ansel has achieved substantial success in establishing his digital footprint in the cyberworld.  While in full-time studies, he created his own online social club ‘FUGO’ focusing on promoting Australian lifestyle and love of sports in young people.  He has developed his own design brand of high-end sporting consumer products and is setting up his own online marketplace.

Ansel's life goal is to live a fruitful and balanced life of work and play.  While continuing to pursue his career development in town planning in metropolitan Australia, he is also diversifying into a parallel career of marketing his own brand of high-end consumer products in Australia and beyond.
